Ibiza is known for its Spanish influence and history, sunny beaches and some of the best nightclubs in the world. In fact, being an island in the Mediterranean, it is the perfect place for a holiday destination. The island is full of hotels and villas you can rent and you are almost certain to have perfect weather.

It’s not surprising that Ibiza is one of the top holiday destinations in Europe. As well as its vibrant nightlife the island beckons to be explored. You can go on a boat trip or explore the center of the island, or just spend all day on the beach. There are many shops to explore too. The dining is definitely fine with fresh food, much seafood and also wine made from grapes grown on Ibiza. There are many old towns that you will want to explore.

There is a variety of accommodation you can stay in, from large and small hotels to self-catering to apartments and villas. You can even have a dedicated spa vacation.

To get to the island most people arrive by plane, but some come by boat from Spain. To get around the island once you have arrived you can rent a car or motorbike, or use a bus or taxi. Because of the vibrant nightlife the buses actually keep running though the night and don’t stop when the rest of Europe goes to sleep. Alternatively you can climb on a ferry at one beach to be taken to another beach further round the island. Now, isn’t that cool?

Being a Mediterranean island there are many water-based activities such as diving fishing, swimming and wind surfing that you can partake in. But there are also other sports and activities such as paintball that are regularly organized. Or you can join one of the many tours in a jeep, mountain bike, 2CV, scooter or on a horse. There are also organized hikes you can join or you can go for a hike on your own. For the company holiday you can do team building activities or join in the Beach Olympics.

The weather is generally nice all year round. The climate is similar to Northern Mexico, Southern California, South Australia, South Africa, Chile or Central Argentina. The weather is usually warm to hot summers and cool and wet winters with thunderstorms occasionally in the summer.

It definitely sounds a great place to visit any time of the year.
