59The Salsa is a dance that is said to have originated in Cuba, yet has influences from Africa and Latin America. It has developed into a dance of its own from the Cuban Son and the Rumba. You're right it really isn't hard to learn and really fun to do, it's just hard to find a partner. However, its not much of an exercise when you first start out, only when you begin to do lots of turns and stuff but even then it isn't strenuous.
